Mom & Dad visit KC

My parents came to Kansas City for my graduation from seminary. They stayed with me and the Keefers. Matthew (the cat) enjoyed all of the extra attention.

Their first trip to the United States Midwest, they wanted to see all the sights and take lots of pictures. I showed them around NTS, and we ate the next-to-last meal served at the Nazarene Commons before its closing. We toured Nazarene Headquarters and Nazarene Publishing House, and drove by the construction site of the Global Ministry Center. (Hey - it was their once in a lifetime pilgrimage to the holy city...and they wanted to see everything "Nazarene.")

We also went to Steamboat Arabia, Liberty Memorial, Union Station, and Crown Center. We ate Kansas City barbeque at Jack Stack, and took a walk at Shawnee Mission park.

On Sunday, Mom & Dad joined me at Overland Park Church of the Nazarene and came to the English Language Learners Sunday School class.
