Upon returning to Sighișoara earlier this week, I realized that spring had arrived in the time I was gone. Yes, we’d had a few warm days before I left, but winter quickly returned each time. I think spring is here to stay.
People are getting the soil prepared to plant vegetables in their gardens. Workers are busy repairing and renovating houses. There are flowers in bloom on the trees. I’m walking without a coat. There are groups of tourists. Outdoor tables are reappearing outside cafes and restaurants. There are spring clothes on the manikins in store windows. And there are children playing in the streets.
Although it wasn’t a terribly cold or harsh winter in Romania this year, it is always refreshing to be able to spend more time outdoors when springs arrives.

Is a sign of spring the constant rain that we are having here in Sofia. I mean, I'm glad it's getting warmer but can we have the sun too.
I LOVE spring, it is like the world is waking up! Spring is slow in coming here in Pennsylvania as well.
