It has been a while since my last update. This summer I spent 6 weeks in the United States. Here are a few of the highlights:

Ministry Highlights
Baptism in Țigmandru – On August 15, the Church of the Nazarene in Țigmandru celebrated the baptism of 5 new believers. Click here to read more and here to view pictures.

Visiting the USA
6 Weeks in the USA – I spent 6 weeks this summer in the United States. The primary purpose of my visit was to raise financial support for the coming years. I met several new people and got to catch up with many old friends. Click here for a few of the highlights from my visit.

Breakdown on the Highway – On my way back to Pennsylvania, the car I was driving broke down. Rather than focus on the negative (like the big repair bill), I am grateful for the ways God took care of me. Click here to continue reading.


Culture Corner
Making Elderflower Juice – In the first week of June, Romanians make a refreshing drink from elderflowers. Since it is one of my favorite drinks, this year I decided to try to make it. Click here to see how it is made.

Increase in Sales Tax – While I was in the US, Romania’s national sales tax increased from 19% to 24% on all items. Read more here.
