La Mulți Ani – Update from Romania

La mulți ani!” is the expression with which Romanian friends greet each other when they meet for the first time in the new year. It is the Romanian equivalent of “Happy New Year,” but means “Many More Years.”

As I think about spending “many more years” ministering here in Romania, I am reminded of my total dependence upon God to provide for all of my needs – year by year and day by day. God always provides more plentifully than I could ever ask or imagine. I want to thank everyone who has faithfully prayed for me, those who have sent cards or emails of encouragement, and those who have given financially to support me during this past year. As you know, I do not receive a salary and need to raise 100% of the finances used to support me while I live and minister in Romania, which are received through monthly and one-time gifts. My goal has been to receive $500 a month in pledges. Last year I came close, with $410 a month. This year I am currently receiving only $100 a month. God is faithful. He will provide. He is also stretching me to trust in Him always. To learn more about how to support me in Romania, click here.
