Ministry Update
- Much of my time has been spent preparing for the course I will be teaching through European Nazarene College in September. When I haven't been reading, searching for suitable Romanian textbooks, or preparing lectures for this course, I've been preparing for and meeting with the men in the Old Testament Bible study from the Tigmandru Church. We've just finished studying the Pentateuch. I also had the opportunity to work with a group of students from Trevecca Nazarene University as they led Vacation Bible School in a nearby village.
- EuNC "Comes Home" to Sighisoara - Earlier this year, EuNC announced its plan to close its main campus in Buesingen, Germany, and focus on learning centres. Here is a recent example of EuNC's learning center in operation – "at home" in Sighisoara.
- Beni’s Story - Veritas, the Nazarene Compassionate Ministry center in Sighisoara, participates in the Nazarene Child Sponsorship Program. Click here to see a video that was recently produced to promote Veritas and child sponsorship. (It was shown at Nazarene Youth Conference in Kentucky last month.)
Cultural Glimpses
- Summer in Sighisoara - The historic citadel of Sighisoara, complete with cobblestone streets and centuries-old churches and towers (as well as being the supposed birthplace of the real Dracula), is buzzing with activity during the summer months.
