I've recently found several videos on YouTube about what life was like in Romania in the 1960s (at least, as reported by British journalists). If you take the time to watch all of those I posted below, you can catch a glimpse of both city and village life, traditional and modern life.
For my Romanian friends: I would love to hear your comments. Is this the way you remember life in the 1960s? Or is this just the way the Communist government allowed Romania to be was presented to Western audiences?
