Home Assignment 2022

I'm in the US for 6 weeks of home assignment. Due to the pandemic, this is my first home assignment since 2019! It's already been great to speak in churches on my home district and to reconnect with friends and supporters in the area. Click here to see my complete schedule. 

The message that I'm sharing (which you can watch below) focuses on how God has used the time of the pandemic to prepare us for a new season of ministry. There are many changes happening in Romania, and here are just a few:

1. As the newly-appointed district superintendent, I'm working with the new District Advisory Board to restructure our legal organization so we're able to be more effective in ministry at the local and district levels. In addition to our Nazarene organization, there are 3 related organizations that are also in transition at the moment. (Which means lots and lots of paperwork and meetings!)
2. Our ministerial students have completed the courses for ordination, so our learning center is in a period of transition. Pray with us that God would send new Romanian students to study through European Nazarene College.
3. We are working to develop a small business and other income-generating activities to help our small churches support their pastors. Click here to learn more about how you can help our local churches become more sustainable. 
4. Nazarenes in Romania are responding to the war in Ukraine by ministering to refugees by providing housing, food, and much, much more. You can read more at the Romania Nazarene blog. To support these efforts financially, you can give at ncm.org/ukraine.
