I’ve decided to start a blog so I can keep in better contact with friends and family around the world. I enjoy occasionally perusing the blogs of friends, seeing what they’ve been up to; it makes us feel closer -- whether we live on opposite sides of the same town, state, country, or even the world!
Newsletters and blogs often have a creative name to them. I’ve decided (for now anyway) to call mine "Jonathan’s Journey." Notice "Journey" is singular, not plural. I’m not talking about a trip or a vacation, a study-abroad semester or even a cross-cultural mission assignment. I’m referencing the journey God has in store for me, the one He is leading me on, developing me so I can better serve Him and others. Sometimes my journey will consist of large and small journeys, but they all are part of the journey.
