May Update

In the 6 weeks since my last e-newsletter, a lot has happened. Let me take this opportunity to share some of the highlights.

Ministry Highlights
  • Training for Children’s Workers - The Nazarene children’s ministries in Romania vary greatly. In May I began a series of training workshops for the dedicated Romanian Christians who work with children on a weekly basis. Click here to learn more about the children’s ministries in Romania.
  • Marriage Retreat - In April, several Nazarene couples from Romania participated in a marriage retreat. Read about it by clicking here.
  • Teens Take Over - Click here to read about what the teens did at the Bucharest Blessing Church of the Nazarene while the adults were at the marriage retreat.
  • Romanian Studies Program - Meet the five students who have come to Romania as part of their college education this summer. Click here to continue reading.

My Life

Culture Corner
  • A Romanian Grammar Lesson. We have 4 demonstrative pronouns in English (this, that, these, those). Romanians have 72! Click here to read about what they do with so many pronouns (and the difficulty for foreigners like me trying to learn their language).

Join the Mission
  • Connect – I’ll be in the US for 6 weeks this summer. While all the Sunday mornings are now filled, there are still several Sunday evenings which are still open. Click here to view the dates I’m available. Hope to see you this summer!
  • PrayClick here for this month’s prayer list.
  • Give – I’m starting the process of raising money for my second year in Romania. Click here to learn how you can help.
