March Update

Special Announcement
Buda Castle and Chain Bridge in
Budapest, Hungary,
where I visited in January
Starting March 1, 2015, I began serving under a new “Specialized Assignment” contract with the Global Mission Department of the Church of the Nazarene. I will continue to serve in Romania in the same ministry roles that I have been fulfilling for the past 5 ½ years, and I will continue to raise my own financial support. However, a portion of those funds will now go to a salary to cover personal expenses, and I now have access to benefits. To read more about this transition, click here

In order to cover the additional costs of being a specialized assignment missionary, I need to raise an additional $595/month. If you'd like to contribute by making a monthly or one-time donation, please click here.

EuNC Faculty Assembly
EuNC faculty members present at the assembly
In January I traveled to Budapest, Hungary, to participate in the annual European Nazarene College (EuNC) faculty assembly, a time for the faculty from all the different learning centers to come together for training and sharing ideas.

EuNC has learning centers across Europe and the former Soviet Union, training church leaders and preparing them for ordination. Here in Romania, we have over a dozen EuNC students taking classes. I'm currently preparing to teach in 2 EuNC Learning Centers in Central Europe later this year.

You can read more about my experiences at the faculty assembly in Budapest on my blog post Budapest: 1-2-3.

Manual Translation Summit
For the past several months, I've been helping with the organization of a summit for those involved in the translation of the Nazarene Manual into European languages. The Manual Translation Summit took place in Budapest immediately following the EuNC Faculty Assembly in January, with 10 languages represented.

You can read more about the translation summit on my blog post Budapest: 1-2-3.

An article was published in the Eurasia region's newsletter (and NCN News) about the Manual translation summit. Click here to read that article.
