The globe on top of the Church of the Nazarene’s International Headquarters building came to a stop today.
This was the last day of operation at Nazarene Headquarters, located at 6401 The Paseo in Kansas City.
Headquarters employees gathered for a ceremonial group picture and watched as the globe came to a stop.
Nazarene Headquarters has been located at 6401 The Paseo since 1955. The campus now has 3 office buildings.
Administrative functions for the Church of the Nazarene will restart on Monday, September 15, at the new Global Ministry Center, located in Lenexa, Kansas (15 miles from the present location), where all employees will work in a single building. I’ll post pictures from the GMC on Monday.
