The process of moving from Headquarters to the Global Ministry Center began several months ago. First, we had to clear out our storage areas in the basement. Then we had to sort through files on our floor. There were some pretty interesting finds, and then there was a lot of stuff that shouldn't have been kept. TONS (16, I think?) of paper was shredded and recycled. It's been a long process, and I'm glad it's finally coming to an end.
The last two weeks, we have been busy packing up our offices in plastic totes like these. They were labeled with our office location and delivered to us this morning for us to unpack.

This was my office at Headquarters. It had 3 1/2 walls, but no door.

This is my office at the Global Ministry Center. It looks just like everybody else's (more or less):

My new office is only about a foot smaller than my old office, and I think I have more counter space. My old office was by a high-traffic area where I saw everyone as they visited the rest rooms, or as they went up or down the back flight of stairs. Now, I don't see any of that.
Back in April, my department took a tour of the building.
